BibleSpot Statement of Faith

Scripture. Jesus. Transformation. Kingdom.

BibleSpot exists to help people know Scripture, follow Jesus, grow in spiritual maturity, and live faithfully in God’s kingdom. We believe biblical truth is not merely information to be learned—it is truth that transforms how we think, live, worship, and serve.

Our Core Beliefs

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete written revelation of His will, and the final authority for all matters of life and faith. We seek to understand Scripture in its context, historical setting, literary genre, and connection to the whole story of redemption. [Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Revelation 22:18-19]

The Triune God

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct Persons who share one divine nature and work together perfectly in creation, redemption, and restoration. [Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-3, 18, 17:3-5; Acts 5:3-5]

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died for our redemption, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the Father, and reigns as Lord and King. [Matthew 1:18-22; Luke 2:52, 24:36-47; John 1:14, 8:58, 10:30; Romans 5:17; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Philippians 2:6-11; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 1 Thessalonians 4:14; Hebrews 1:3, 8, 4:14-15, 10:12]

Sin and Redemption

We believe humanity was created in God’s image but has been separated from Him through sin. Adam and Eve fell into sin by a voluntary act of personal disobedience to the revealed will of God. As their descendants, we are all sinners by nature and choice, alienating us from God. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God offers forgiveness, reconciliation, freedom, and new life to those who respond to Him in faith and repentance. Grace saves us through faith, and this genuine faith produces a transformed life. [Romans 3:23, 5:12, 18, 6:23;  Ephesians 2:1-5; John 1:12; 3:16; Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-9; 2 Peter 3:9]

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit gives new life, empowers believers, guides us into truth, produces Christlike character, and equips every believer for meaningful ministry. [John 14:15-17, 26-27;  Romans 8:11; Galatians 5:16-23; Ephesians 1:13; 2 Peter 1:20-21]

Spiritual Gifts

We believe the Holy Spirit distributes spiritual gifts—including teaching, service, encouragement, leadership, prophecy, healing, discernment, tongues, and others—for the building up of Christ’s Church. Spiritual gifts are not badges of spiritual superiority; they are gifts to be exercised with love, humility, wisdom, and biblical order. [Romans 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 27-31; 13:1-13; 14:26, 40; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Peter 4:10-11]

Deliverance and Inner Healing

We believe Jesus has authority over the powers of darkness and that spiritual warfare is real. We believe God brings freedom, healing, restoration, and wholeness as people encounter His truth and grace. Deliverance and inner healing should always remain Christ-centered and Scripture-grounded, while recognizing the importance of prayer, discipleship, wise counsel, and appropriate care for the whole person. [Psalm 147:3; Luke 4:18; John 8:31-36; Colossians 1:13-14; 2:13-15; Ephesians 6:10-18; James 4:7; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5]

The Church and Discipleship

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, serve others, and demonstrate Christ’s love. Following Jesus is a lifelong journey of growing in biblical understanding, spiritual maturity, character, and obedience. [Matthew 16:18, 28:19-20; Ephesians 1:22, 4:3;  Colossians 1:18; Hebrews 10:24-25; 1 Peter 4:10]

Our Kingdom Perspective

The End Times

BibleSpot approaches biblical prophecy through an “Orthomillennial” framework, emphasizing the kingdom-centered message of Scripture and the importance of understanding biblical prophecy within its original covenantal, historical, and first-century context.

Kingdom of God

We believe that Jesus Christ inaugurated the Kingdom of God through His life, death, resurrection, and ascension. He is presently reigning as King, and His kingdom continues to advance through the gospel and the mission of His Church. [Daniel 7:13-14; Mark 1:14-15; Matthew 12:28; 28:18-20; Luke 17:20-21; Acts 2:32-36; Colossians 1:13; 1 Corinthians 15:25; Hebrews 12:28]

Biblical Prophecy

We understand many of the prophetic passages concerning Israel, Jerusalem, the coming of Christ, and the transition from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant to have their primary fulfillment in the events surrounding the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD [Joshua 21:43-45; 23:14; 1 Kings 8:56; Luke 21:20-22; Acts 13:32-33; Galatians 3:16, 26-29; Matthew 24:3-34; Mark 13:1-30; Luke 21:5-32; Colossians 1:6; Jeremiah 31:31-34; Luke 22:20; 2 Corinthians 3:6-14].

At the same time, we recognize that sincere, Bible-believing Christians hold differing views concerning the timing and nature of Christ’s kingdom and the millennium. BibleSpot does not make agreement on eschatological details a test of Christian faith or fellowship. Our emphasis is on faithfully following Jesus, proclaiming the gospel, making disciples, and living as citizens of His kingdom.

Resurrection and Renewal

We look forward to the final resurrection, judgment, and the ultimate renewal of all things, when God’s purposes will be completely fulfilled. [John 14:1-4; 1 Corinthians 15:24-28, 35-54; 2 Corinthians 5:8-10; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11; Hebrews 10:35-36; Revelation 20:11-15; Revelation 21:6-8].

Christ is King. His kingdom is here. His kingdom is advancing. And our calling is to faithfully serve Him.
