The fruit of the Spirit is the nine-part character that the Holy Spirit produces in a believer's life, listed in Galatians 5:22-23: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Scripture calls it fruit rather than fruits because the nine grow together as one character, not as nine separate qualities to pick from.
Rev. Rochelle Haug writes the Fruit of Faith Blog, drawing on the research behind Rev. Gerald Haug's nine-volume Fruit of Faith Series.
